Protein??!?

the stylist lady cut my hair too short.

and she told me too make it grow faster i should eat LOTS of protein.

what foods does that include??

Protein??!?

eggs %26amp; dairy if you're lacto-ovo, or beans, nuts, %26amp; seeds if strict vegan.

as a licensed hairdresser for 15 years, I can tell you diet does not affect the rate of hair growth, unless you are totally deficient in key nutrients. She told you that to ease up her mistake.

Hair does grow faster in summer though, so at least you have that going for you right now.

Protein??!?

Beans Beans Beans, especially since your a vegetarian.

Protein??!?

Here ya go - tons of information at this website for vegetarians and vegans %26gt;%26gt; http://www.vegsoc.org/info/protein.html

This place also has charts %26gt;%26gt; http://www.vegparadise.com/protein.html

not sure if you're vegan or vegetarian. check www.google.com also, just try all sorts of word combinations and you can come up with about anything. Also, if you try www.calorieking.com you can also check protein levels and carb levels of food (I think protein?) I know carb and fat levels for sure..and sugar levels. They also have a toolbar add on for firefox at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox... I have it %26amp; its great. just type in whatever food and it gives you dietary information on that food per portion/serving/oz whatever.

Protein??!?

Tofu has lots of Protein in it,and so does soy beans. They have moe protein that meat, which is great,if your a vegitarian eggs and milk have plenty of protein in it but Tofu is the best, you can saute it with marshrooms and garlic.. .realy yummy!

Protein??!?

beans are a good source.

Protein??!?

Remember as a vegetarian almost everything you eat contains protein. These are the amount of calories from protein.

Broccoli -33%

Cauliflower-26%

Green beans-18%

Potatoes-8%

Sweet potatoes-7%

Lentils-30%

Kidney beans-27%

Tofu-40%

Oatmeal-15%

Cantaloupe-9%

Peanuts-18%

Almonds-13%

Rice-8%

Whole wheat bread-15%

These are only some of the many many foods. And it is recomended that a healthy man or woman(not pregnant or breastfeeding) only get about between 2.5% and 15% of protein from calories. Or between 30 to 60 grams per day. Unless you're eating junk food or not eating it's not that hard to get enough protein. Don't worry.
