I got my hair cut yesterday and when my stylist dried my hair, my bangs looked awesome. However, I tried to do exactly as she did this morning and they looked worse than before! I used a round brush, as did my stylist, but nothing seems to work! I have longish hair and my bangs are pretty thick, if that helps with answering.

after you blowdry them with a round brush, try flat ironing them. use hairspray after to keep them held the way you like them.

i have full bangs and i style mine by sweeping them to one side and drying them for about 5 seconds, the sweeping them all the way to the other side and doing the same. I do this, brushing constantly, until they are dry. It will make bangs look soft and full.

Well, maybe she rolled the brush east to west instead of straight down? Or maybe she pulled the hair back to the crown and rolled forward....play with it and place the brush at different angles on different parts of the hair....if all else fails ask your sister to do it again with the both of you in the mirror.
