I want my hair to do something like that. A sequence of photos with Japanese captions underneath only give me a vague idea of what I should do.

I know I won't get my hair EXACTLY like that because I don't have the cut for it, but I want to be able to get the same look in general.

I'm between stylists right now and haven't settled with one yet. I asked the stylist who gave me the haircut in my picture and she said to use a wax but she was too busy to tell me exactly how. I've asked another stylist and he told me to just use alot of hairspray. He even tried it on me but all it did was fall over.

A pomade seems to have the same effect.

I tried got2b's glue and that seems to work but, the thing is, I don't know how to use it to achieve the look I want D:

use this gel called manga gell its for the 'anime' cartoon style hair lol - its really good it comes in a green round tub with orange writing on i think :P

Just straighten your hair up, just like he's doing in the picture. Show your hairdresser that picture if you dont have the right hair cut. It really works my friend straightens her hair up all the time.
