Relaxers and changing textures????

Srry I'm asking this again i just want more answers..... srry again

I'm growing out my relaxer that I have had for five years with the help of my professional hair stylist... but I'm wondering I had thick course curly hair before the relaxer will my texture be the same as before I relaxed it. Its already starting to grow since I opted to not chop it off at all one time(cuz I cant afford to) and it looks a somewhat looser curl..... some people have told me relaxers do change the texture and some have said they dont. So do they or do they dont? I do realize that as soon as my curly hair gets to a length I want I have to cut the relaxed hair I AM AWARE OF THIS.... thanks to all who can help.

Thanks again!

ps: why havent i had any breakage? i realize i might have some in the near future but i take really good care of my hair and everybody is talking bout breakage but my new growth is almost 2 inches and i have had very little i mean very very little breakage...... ??????

Relaxers and changing textures????

I have grown out my relaxer successfully am im glad u are too! Relaxers do change the texture of the hair, however what grows out of your scalp is your natural texture. A few cm of hair that grows has some of the relaxer chemical in it but when u cut off the relaxed ends ,you will get a true essence of what your hair looks like natural. As far as breakage, my hair did break as it grew out because of the point where the natural hair meets the relaxed but everyones hair is different :-). Its oky if you dont have breakage. Relaxers and changing textures????

If you've been keeping your hair well moisturized. You more than likely wont have any breakage.
